CurlyQ

I swore I would never make my girls wear sponge curlers to bed so I am not sure how Madison ended up with curlers in her hair. Today was picture day at school so we thought we would try something different. (Note to self: never try something the first time the day before an event)She thought she looked pretty cute!I must say I think that her hair turned out really cute! I had to soften the front a little because I put too small of curlers and it was really tight. Hopefully it lasted for pictures...we will see!

Hall of Flame

We took a trip to the Hall of Flame Museum. This is a museum of fire trucks dating back to the 1800's all the way up to current times. It was amazing to see how much they have changed.

Don't hurt yourself honey!!

This one was the oldest...1800's

Labor Day Fun

We took the girls to our new Children's Museum. What a fun place!! They have a car wash, grocery store, noodle maze....well take a look and you'll see!! Here the girls are dishing out icecream...their favorite thing to do!!!
This is the sea of noodles...there are literally over 3,000 noodles hanging from the ceiling! You pretty much get lost as you walk through them. This was the only picture I could get of a child..oh wait that's my child:)!

This is in the grocery store. Morgan is filling her cart..hopefully she has enough money because I didn't bring any!

Come on lady you're holding up the line...I only need $5!

I'm still waiting.......

Morgan took on the duty of bagger...do I see a potential job offer soon?!

Hey Grandpa Allen..look at me! I'm in the freezer at Sam's Club loading the trucks!!

This is a car wash the kids ride through with their bikes...thank goodness there wasn't any water!

I thought this was hiliarious! These are parking meters for your strollers!

Happy Birthday Madison!!

We have had a busy last 2 days!! Yesterday morning at 6:15 am my 3rd niece was born. Her name is Rachael Marie Sims and she weighed in at 7 lbs 14 oz and was 20 inches long. I drove up to Flagstaff with Morgan and was able to spend some time with her before I had to rush back home because...

Maddie's friend Kylie was coming over for a sleepover.
The girls then decided it would be fun to get up at 5am!!

This didn't fly with me and they had to stay in bed until 6:30.

Then it was time for Madison's party. She had six of her friends come and it was a great success! The girls put on glittery makeup and played a game called "Hullabaloo" over and over. Best Buds

The best part of the party was when Madison tried to blow out her candles and couldn't because we used trick candles. I think only one of the girls had seen this before so they all thought this was pretty funny...especially Morgan.

Madison had a great party and tomorrow we will be celebrating her Daddy's birthday and hopefully a Superbowl win by the Cardinals!!

Rebekah is almost 1 month old. Her mom and dad says she still likes to stay up all night and has definitely figured out she has a voice. She also has just starting smiling. In this picture she is doing her best to smile for the camera.

I am just now posting this because up until today Tim and Jonnae had not decided on her name. Who knew?

We are looking foward to meeting our newest arrival to the family and I will post more pictures of her as I get them.

Stuffington Bear Factory

Nathan did not know until Christmas Eve that he was going to get this entire week off. So we decided to do something fun with the girls. Many of you know that I have been a crew member for Noah's Ark Animal Workshop for the past 2 years. My girls have helped me stuff and dress many animals but we thought it would be fun to see how a teddy bear is actually made. So we took them to Stuffington Bear Factory and did a tour.
This bear is 1 of 3 bears that is the largest in the U.S. They were made by Stuffington Factory and this one is over 10ft tall and weighs in at 572 pounds!!
Inside the factory
This is a machine used to cut out the templates for the different bears.
The girls were able to touch and feel the different kinds of noses and eyes they put on the bears.

This machine blows the stuffing into the bear like at Build-A-Bear except this one is super loud!! I wish I could have gotten a picture of the girls holding their hands over their ears.

This machine sews up the hole and then the bear is brushed and bathed before being shipped off to be sold. (Bathed means to use compressed air and blow any remaining fuzz off..lol)

Madison and Morgan really enjoyed the tour and I let them pick out something from the gift store. They each picked out tiny backpacks and hats for their animals. It was a fun thing to do and I highly recommend it since it's FREE!
